Gummy Blocks Introduce

This is a block puzzle game that takes inspiration from the classic Tetris, but with a calm and colorful twist. You are not confined to the pressure of fast-falling blocks while playing Gummy Blocks; you are free to play at your own pace and select how you want to place adorable gummy shapes on the board.

Your mission is simple: fill in rows or fill in columns to free space and keep the board moving. With every complete line, you score points, and the longer you last, the more points you will accumulate.

During the game, you will begin on a gentle, airy grid among the clouds with a collection of vibrant, fruit-like blocks at the bottom of your display. You pick a block, drag it onto the grid you want to lay on, and build rows and columns to clear them.

Game Highlights

One of the things that makes Gummy Blocks different from games like Tetris is the lack of pressure. There's no time limit, and the blocks don’t fall from the sky.

You receive three pieces at a time, and you can take as much time as you need to decide where to place them. This makes the game suitable for pretty casual playtime whenever you need downtime or time to unwind after school or perhaps just for a rest.

However, there is a strategy in Gummy Blocks, and you would be mistaken to think otherwise. You must plan your moves to avoid running out of space, and if the grid has filled up and your next blocks cannot fit, it is game over. Therefore, it pays to lay big blocks early and keep the grid open as long as possible, and avoid placing blocks tightly against corners.

Tips to score big in Gummy Blocks

To help you maximize your highest possible score, here are some helpful, easy tips.

  1. Clear lines frequently: You can earn bonus points for each full row or column cleared, and you'll receive even more points for having cleared multiple lines at the same time.
  2. Use your space wisely: Even though you're able to put the blocks in the middle of the grid, do not start doing that too early, or you'll have too many obstacles to fit especially big pieces.
  3. Think ahead: You'll have blocks in the sets of three, so before you place your first block, you should imagine the way the whole set will fit. There is no rotation, so you'll have to be okay with the shapes you are given, which is a neat wrinkle and encourages spatial planning.

If you enjoyed Block Blast, you'll enjoy this, since you'll get the same satisfaction of making lines and trying to achieve a new high score.
