Tank Trouble

About Tank Trouble

Tank Trouble is a fast-paced action game where players control tanks in tight mazes, using navigational skill and planned strategy to outshoot opponents.

Objective

In Tank Trouble, players control a compact tank and engage in intense artillery battles. You need to eliminate your opponents before they do the same to you. Bullets can ricochet off walls multiple times, so even a small mistake can result in you shooting yourself.

The game map is designed like a maze with many turns and corners. This acts as both a shield to help you dodge bullets and a great challenge in controlling and navigating the tank.

Game modes

Tank Trouble offers three flexible game modes, suitable for both single-player and multiplayer.

  • 1 Player: One player faces off against a computer-controlled tank. This mode helps you practice your reflexes, familiarize yourself with the map, and learn how bullets ricochet off walls.
  • 2 Players: Two players compete on the same map, creating tense and unpredictable gunfights.
  • 3 Players: A free-for-all mode where three tanks appear simultaneously. In this mode, strategy isn't just about accurate shooting, but also about choosing the right moment to attack to avoid being surrounded from multiple directions.

How to play

In 1-player mode, the player uses the arrow keys to control the tank and presses M to start.

In Multiplayer mode:

  • The first player uses the S, E, D, and F keys to move and presses Q to get ready.
  • The second player uses the arrow keys to control and presses M to start.
  • The third player controls with the left mouse button and clicks to join.

Once all players are ready, the match begins, and your task is to eliminate your opponents quickly to win.

Tips for faster elimination

To play Tank Trouble effectively, you should utilize the ricochet mechanism. Instead of shooting directly, try calculating the angle of your shot so that the bullet bounces unexpectedly to your opponent. Moving slowly and carefully maneuvering your tank will help you avoid shooting yourself.

Additionally, observe the map and lure your opponents into tight corners where they have difficulty maneuvering. Staying calm and patient is key to mastering the battles in Tank Trouble.

Similar tank shooting games, but with different gameplay mechanics, that you should try right away include Base Defense, Clash of Armor, or Call of Tanks.
